Orthopaedic Associates of New Orleans (OANO) is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Hand and Wrist Surgeon to join our team in New Orleans, LA. OANO, established in 1949, boasts a group of 7 incredibly skilled orthopedic physicians that take pride in their long-standing tenure and loyalty to the practice.

Position Overview: The Orthopedic Hand and Wrist Surgeon will be a major asset to the practice as the only sub-specialized Hand and Wrist specialist. The position will be considered a full-time, salaried position, and relocation assistance will be provided. The first two years are considered building years and include a guaranteed salary with production-based bonus. Emergency Department call is 3 to 4 call days per month covering the local emergency room. OANO seeks candidates that are committed to excellent patient care and are enthusiastic about the success within our private practice.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of hand and wrist disorders.
- Perform surgical interventions with precision and patient-centered care.
- Provide follow-up care and rehabilitation oversight.
- Participate in 1:5 call coverage
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Education and Experience:
- BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in Orthopedic Hand and Wrist Surgery
- Excellent communication skills
- Patient focused, collaborative, team player
- Eligible for or holding a valid Louisiana medical license.
